Purpose of this Position:
This position is responsible for assessing, estimating, supporting and managing the effective and efficient delivery of the functional aspects of APS (Advanced Planning & Scheduling) and WEB solutions, enhancements and service delivery (break/fix) across all HMGMA supported instances. This position responds to production problems and implement immediate resolution efforts related business applications/systems for HMGMA Sales & Production planning operations.

Essential Functions:
• Design & implementation of WEB system packages.
• Implement sales & operation planning, production scheduling & sequencing system
• Consult & support sales & production business teams to solve problems & improve optimized results.
• Develop & maintain SAP (SD, PP) I/F & Web UIs.
• Provide user training
• Provide technical support to the end users in the form of troubleshooting guidelines and modifications to the system after it has been delivered.
• Takes the lead role in assisting with the business case, Planning and monitoring, eliciting requirements, Requirements organization, Translating and simplifying requirements, Requirements management and communication, and Requirements analysis.
• Review code for various applications.
• Run functionality testing and debug code.
• Ensures our software documentation is up to date.
• On-call support.
• Performs other duties as assigned

Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Builds productive internal/external working relationships.

Ability to present and convey towards various audience types – All levels up and down.

Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments.

Education:
• Bachelor's degree in an Information Technology discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Related Work Experience (Yrs.)
• 3+ years’ experience in the IT field
• 3 or more years of professional experience solving business problems with technology solutions, preferably in the Automotive or Manufacturing industry

Skills/Knowledge
• Experience in developing algorithms of scheduling & sequencing optimization.
• Proficiency on writing web programming (Java, JavaScript, .Net, etc. and SQL code)
• Administrative skills on open-source RDBMS (ex: MariaDB), Web Server and Web Application Server
• Java/Web Framework (React, MyBatis and Spring Boot)
• Databases: MariaDB or MySQL (Oracle is a plus)

Certifications (Required/Preferred)
• Web Developer Certificate preferred

Up to 25% travel to potentially include international travel.

Salary Range:  $59,680  to $85,338 per yr. (Depending on experience offered).
