Purpose:
The Project Manager is responsible in planning and coordinating all aspects of internal information system-specific projects from mitigation to delivery. Projects often involve network, server, software implementation and upgrade, and the like. Coordinates work performed by IT staff and internal customers/partners by defining project requirements, performing feasibility and needs/impact assessments. Develops detailed project plans and manages all implementation processes including resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control process, testing, documentation, training and on-time delivery within budget constraints. Projects may vary in number, size and complexity.

Salary Range - $91,810 - $131,285

- Project Integration Management Activities:
- Develop project charter
- Develop project management plan
- Direct and manage project execution
- Monitor and control project work
- Perform integrated change control
- Close project or phase
- Project Scope Management Activities:
- Support and/or collect business requirements
- Define project scope
- Create work breakdown structure using MS Project
- Verify scope with business stakeholders and technical team
- Control scope
- Project Time Management Activities:
- Define and document activities outside of the project schedule
- Sequence activities and identify dependencies
- Estimate activity resources through meetings with team members
- Estimate activity durations
- Develop project schedule
- Control schedule impacts
- Project Cost Management Activities:
- Estimate costs through meetings with team leaders and vendors
- Determine / Manage project budget
- Control costs
- Human Resource Management Activities:
- Develop resource management plan
- Acquire necessary project team members
- Develop project team to support project deliverables
- Manage project team
- Project Communication Management Activities:
- Identify and document project sponsor and stakeholders.
- Develop communication plan and distribute information
- Manage stakeholder expectations
- Report performance and project status
- Risk Project Management Activities:
- Plan risk management
- Identify risks
- Perform qualitative risk analysis
- Perform quantitative risk analysis
- Plan risk responses
- Monitor and control Risks
- Project Procurement Management Activities:
- Plan and support procurement
- Conduct / support / coordinate procurement activities.
- Administer procurement
- Close procurement
- Conduct Project Status Meetings
- Manage and document meeting minutes and action items as needed.
- Quality Assurance Activities
- Ensure all PM policies, standards, and processes are upheld and performed.
- Manage and support business user acceptance testing.
- Ensure security reviews are conducted on all project initiatives.
- Ensure architecture reviews are conducted on all project initiatives.
- Project Planning Support
- Facilitate and educate project members of project objectives, strategies, standards, and policies.
- Provide quality feedback and project lessons learned
- Lead / Support project quality audit as directed by Project Planning
- Support continual improvement project templates and procedures.
- Maintain awareness/understanding of best practices in IT industry
- Support and maintain project sites using SharePoint 2013
- Must demonstrate high level of interpersonal skills and relationship management capability.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, minimum of 7 years as Project Manager or 5 years Project Management with 2 years of Business Analyst experience
- PMP Certification required
- Proficiency in all Microsoft products (Project, Word, Excel, Ppt, Visio, SharePoint) is required
- Experience using Project Server is a plus
- Project Management Office (PMO) experience is a plus.
- Experience with automotive industry is a plus
- Data Analysis skills (SQL data extraction, exporting to MS Excel, data manipulation, Report Formatting, and analysis)
- ITIL v3 certification or understanding is a plus
- Knowledge in ServiceNow or other related ITSM ticketing tools is a plus
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks / projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly motivated with a desire to improve skills, processes and procedures.
