What You be doing?
As a Sr. Systems Administrator you will provide expert technical leadership in the design, maintenance, and lifecycle management of server, network, and security infrastructure. You will develop and implement high-impact IT solutions using advanced technologies, ensuring long-term effectiveness, scalability, and alignment with business needs. You will also collaborate with Headquarters and mentors others while performing complex analysis, testing, and troubleshooting across platforms.
- Administer and monitor Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Exchange, and virtual infrastructure (VMware vSphere).
- Perform system troubleshooting, backups/restores, and manage authentication, group policies, and security best practices.
- Respond to helpdesk tickets via ServiceNow and support end users and IT staff with technical issues.
- Maintain and upgrade systems using MECM, SCCM, WSUS, and Dell Storage; manage IT assets and licensing.
- Lead and document IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and coordination across teams.
Basic Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in computer/information science preferred; 7–10 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure and VMware vSphere/vCenter (v5+).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to plan, organize, and coordinate technical work assignments.
- Proven ability to identify testing requirements, resolve system issues, and complete projects on time
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft certifications such as MCSA and MCSE in Server Infrastructure preferred.
- VMware certification preferred.
Base Salary Range: $84,410 to $129,987
