Role Overview:
The Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for designing and developing test strategies, fixtures, and processes to validate KiaConnect Service and CCS platform, ensuring high-quality deliverables through collaboration with product teams and stakeholders.
What You Will Do?
- Design test strategies, plans, and cases from requirements and specifications for connected car telematics platforms.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and smoke tests; report and track defects and metrics to identify trends and systemic issues.
- Collaborate in Agile ceremonies, review UI for consistency, and participate in system design sessions to ensure testability.
- Analyze production issues, troubleshoot, and provide recommendations for improvement; manage ticketing and vendor follow-up.
- Drive innovation by improving testing tools, processes, and strategies for efficiency and effectiveness.

Basic Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Experience: 7–10 years in IT or QA roles, with 4+ years in telematics, telecom, or automotive industry.
- QA Expertise: Deep understanding of QA methodologies, tools, processes, and Agile/Scrum frameworks.
- Technical Skills: Experience with automated test suites, Web, API, and Mobile application testing; proficiency with QA tools and technologies.
- Leadership & Communication: Ability to influence development teams, drive innovation, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Industry Knowledge: Awareness of current QA trends and advancements; ability to streamline testing processes and contribute to company-wide QA policies.
Certifications
PMP / Certification in Project Management preferred.
Salary Range - $96,500 to $138,061
