10089 – Sr. Accountant II
Purpose:
The Senior Accountant II will be involved in a variety of responsibilities of accounting operations and reporting functions and other duties as assigned.
Essential Functions:
- Manage general ledger chart of accounts and ensure the integrity of accounting information including performing reconciliation of general ledger to sub-ledger and identifying and resolving discrepancies
- Manage full cycle of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR). Prepare system-generated and manual journal entries and substantiating supporting document for the journal entries and general ledger account balances. Ensure that automated interfaces to the general ledger are functioning as intended.
- Support month-end and year-end close process including accrual of revenues and expenses.
- Support annual audit and quarterly reviews.
- Support accounting for leases under FASB ASC 842
- Support revenue recognition under FASB ASC 606
- Support reporting and compliance of various types of tax (e.g., income tax, property tax, sales/use tax, and information filings such as 1099s and government surveys)
- Carry out internal control over financial reporting (ICFR) under Korean Sarbanes Oxley (K-SOX) framework and maintain documentation to demonstrate operating effectiveness of ICFRs in the key business cycles and processes.
- Assist with Ad-hoc reports, cross-functional projects and other duties and tasks as assigned.

Basic requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Finance or related experience
- 5 + years of experience in accounting
- CPA License required
- In-depth understanding of US GAAP and IFRS standards of Revenue Recognition and Lease Accounting ASC 842
- Ability to produce GAAP/IFRS financial accounting statements
- Ability to analyze financial statements and data
- Advanced MS Office
- Experience in SAP GUI
- Independent starter of task from planning to execution
- Excellent communication skills verbal and written
- Korean bilingual is a plus
Salary - $70,800 - $114,103
