10089 – Sr. Accountant II
Purpose:
Senior Accountant II will be involved in a variety of responsibilities in accounting operations and reporting functions and other duties as assigned.
Essential Functions:
- Manage the full cycle of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) including invoice preparation and AR collection
- Manage general ledger chart of accounts and ensure the integrity of accounting information including performing reconciliation of general ledger to sub-ledger and identifying and resolving discrepancies
- Prepare system-generated and manual journal entries and substantiating supporting document for the journal entries and general ledger account balances. Ensure that automated interfaces to the general ledger are functioning as intended.
- Support month-end and year-end close process including accrual of revenues and expenses.
- Support annual audit and quarterly reviews by independent auditor
- Support accounting for leases under FASB ASC 842
- Support revenue recognition under FASB ASC 606
- Support reporting and compliance of various types of tax (e.g., income tax, property tax, sales/use tax, and information filings such as 1099s and government surveys)
- Carry out internal control over financial reporting (ICFR) under the Korean Sarbanes Oxley (K-SOX) framework and maintain documentation to demonstrate operating effectiveness of ICFRs in the key business cycles and processes.
- Assist with Ad-hoc reports, cross-functional projects and other duties and tasks as assigned.

Basic requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics with emphasis in Accounting and Finance
- 5 + years of experience in Accounting/ Finance
- Active CPA highly Preferred
- In-depth understanding of US GAAP of Revenue Recognition and Lease Accounting (ASC 606) and Lease Accounting (ACS 842)
- Ability to produce US GAAP financial statements
- Ability to analyze financial statements and data
- Advanced skills: MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience in SAP GUI
- Ability: Independently initiates tasks, from planning through to execution.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Salary - $70,800 - $114,103
