10040 – Executive Principal, Infrastructure Engineering (5-days onsite)
Purpose:
The Executive Principal of Infra Engineering is a Head of Department who will provide leadership to HAEA’s Infra Engineering team, consisting of the Platform Engineering, Enterprise Collaboration, Storage & Backup, Network & Telecom teams. The department goal is to provide excellent support across the organization. This includes providing oversight for 24x7 operations across HAEA’s Shared Services environment. As an Executive Principal, the following technical expertise and understanding is expected.

Essential Functions:
- Provide mentorship, skills development and assistance to infrastructure engineering managers and subject matter experts (SMEs).
- Take charge of leading a blended team of onshore and offshore SMEs in collaboration with a managed services provider to ensure optimal team dynamics.
- Oversee the management, development, and reporting of operational expenses (OpEx) and capital expenditures (CapEx), including purchases, renewals, and leases.
- Direct the periodic reporting of service level agreements (SLAs), key performance indicators (KPIs), and objectives and key results (OKRs), and implement action plans to address any discrepancies.
- Handle the operations of platform services, address escalated issues, participate in problem-solving sessions, and engage with users to resolve IT challenges.
- Ensure the continuous operation of essential Windows network services such as Active Directory (AD), Domain Name System (DNS), Distributed File System (DFS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
- Lead the upkeep of both physical and virtual environments across various platforms including Windows, Solaris, Red Hat, CentOS, AIX, IBM, and VMware.
- Oversee the availability and management of Enterprise Collaboration services, including SharePoint, Azure AD, On-premises AD, Office 365, and on-premises Exchange server.
- Possess a foundational knowledge of network and system administration tasks such as routing, switching, firewall management, load balancing, address management, and circuit oversight.
- Understand the basics of storage and data management technologies like Data Domain, Veritas, Varonis, x86 virtualization, EMC, and NetApp.
- Maintain the rotation of SME on-call duties and act as a secondary or tertiary point of contact for escalations.
- Evaluate and sanction both routine and critical changes in line with Change Control procedures. Spearhead the development of root cause analyses (RCAs), problem statements, and agreements for risk acceptance.
- Administer both prod and non-prod environments, promoting operational excellence and stability through systematic lifecycle management to avert technology debt.
- Formulate strategies, set priorities, and devise plans for Platform as a Service (SaaS), Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), and associated technologies.
- In alignment with Security Operations protocols, manage vulnerability and patch updates, ensuring operating system images are secure and fortified.
- Fulfill the requirements of both internal and external IT audits and regulatory compliance checks.

Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT/IS or equivalent experience in IT Systems Engineering required
- 10 years of infrastructure engineering experience
- 8+ years of management experience required
Certifications:
- ITIL certification preferred
- AWS and/or Azure certification preferred
- Microsoft MSCA/MCSE certification or equivalent experience required
- Cisco CCNA/CCNP certification or equivalent experience preferred
- Conceptional understanding of UNIX administration preferred
Salary range - $159,160 to $206,900
